Our modification system is designed to accommodate these real-world changes while maintaining the integrity of your application.

Modification requests are available for applications that are still within the active processing window. Once an application has received a final determination, certain types of modifications may no longer be possible through the standard process. The sooner you identify the need for a change, the more options will be available to you.

It is important to understand that not all fields on your application are equally modifiable. Some changes are straightforward administrative updates, while others may require your application to undergo additional review. The nature of your requested change determines the process and timeline for implementation.

How to Submit a Modification Request

The modification process has been designed to be as straightforward as possible while ensuring the security and accuracy of your application data. Follow these steps to request changes to your submitted ETA application.

Log Into Your Dashboard

Access your applicant dashboard using your registered email and application reference number. Navigate to the application management section where your current submission details are displayed.

Select Modification Option

Locate the modification request feature within your dashboard. The system will display which fields are available for modification based on your application's current processing status.

Specify Your Changes

Clearly describe the changes you need to make. For each field you wish to update, provide the corrected information exactly as it should appear on your application. Be precise and thorough in your descriptions.

Review and Confirm

Before submitting your modification request, review all proposed changes carefully. Once confirmed, the request enters the review queue and cannot be withdrawn. Ensure all updated information is accurate.

Await Confirmation

Our team will review your modification request and implement approved changes. You will receive email confirmation when modifications have been applied, along with updated application details.

Processing Times for Modifications

Modification requests are processed in the order they are received. Simple administrative changes such as contact information updates or accommodation detail corrections are typically processed within 24 to 48 hours. More complex modifications that affect the substance of your application may require additional review time, potentially extending the processing window.

During peak travel seasons, modification processing times may be longer than usual due to increased volume across all application services. We recommend submitting any modification requests as early as possible relative to your travel date to ensure adequate time for processing.

If your modification involves changes that require your application to be reassessed, the review timeline may reset partially. In these cases, you will be informed of the new expected processing timeline so you can plan accordingly. Our team always prioritises modifications for applications with imminent travel dates where possible.
